The exhibition The Eagle Has Landed brings together visual artists who share an experimental and open approach to printmaking. The exhibition wishes to examine the ways traditional techniques of printmaking are reinterpreted and altered in the field of contemporary art. Where can contemporary printmaking extend to?<\/p>\n

The selected artists correspond to the printed image in various ways. Different printing methods are e.g. applied to a digital image or the print is modified and reconstructed through the process of manipulation. A printed image continues to multiply, moving towards other forms of contemporary art such as installation and performance.<\/p>\n

During the exhibition\u00b4s opening times, a durational performance by Suvi Sysi is on view at SIC.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is curated by Konsta Ojala.<\/p>\n
